I know, you are eagerly anticipating the third season of Ricky & Morty just as much as me but with no date given by Adult Swim there is always the re run to keep us content. About a month ago a YouTube user named The Save Point Guild post a very very interesting theory in his video "THE SECRET OF THE TICKET. His theory explained something that most fans of the series like me would never though about.
What we know of is that the whole premise of Ricky & Morty series are build on the Multi-universe / parallel universe adventure that seems to be minimally related or not at all between each episodes but this Youtube video really open my eyes to a more structured story line.
